Just out of curiosity, how many HR goons were impacted by this lay off

Luckily I work weekends and on-call for our service advantage accounts. I escaped this round of downsizing.

There are some days where our team has zero new printer break/fix calls.

My advice for anyone in the field, would be to train on the service advantage equipment in your area. 3rd party break/fix is definitely the future for my team.

I don't believe ITS was impacted by the recent layoffs.

The real question here is are they slimming ITS for a sale?

Layoffs are never done. Next step is they will need to see how everyone fits into the new organization and then they will identify redundancies and more opportunity to trim staff

They are done. April 2 & 3 were the dates with April 4 AM for any they missed on 2 and 3.

Layoffs/eliminations will continue as long as Ricoh remain in business.

Eliminated. Jobs are being eliminated not layoffs -several persons who were blindsided last week used that terminology.

You just need to focus on the positive. If you are in leadership you can expect another huge bonus! What we actually all work for at Ricoh is to provide generous bonus for people who all ready make more in a year than you do in 10. Keep up the hard work Mercedes and BMW's are going up this year.

I would tend to think that they are not done yet, based on the local situation that I see.
