I heard that some people were laid off today due to ethical reasons. No idea what this means. Did anyone hear anything?

Full time managers are making contractors wash their dishes, cooking at home. Making them pay for their private parties. Doing side hustles .
Ethical reason could be, you are aware of it and did not report. E.g you are part of WhatsApp group where people discuss or participate in this scam and you were a silent observer.
