First they announce full time RTO with just a single weekend to let us figure out accommodations, then they tell us we are expected to work on flex Fridays. What’s next, they take away sick days? 5-day RTO because no one is quitting from the 3-day RTO? This whole thing seems never-ending. I’m not local so I’ve spent thousands traveling to and from the offices, since they only gave us 2 days to move back to the office. Mental health at an absolute all time low. The horrible job market doesn’t help.

To be fair, Fridays were never supposed to be a half day of work though that's what it turned into. It was always supposed to be a half day with no meetings or production requirements so that employees had time to catch up on whatever they wanted (production if behind, projects, education, personal development, etc). Pretty much all of us, though, just took it off.
Some of us are already in five days a week, it varies by team and isn't consistent even across the same org :(
heard through the grapevine the departments were in multi family and climate impact
Which departments were impacted?
Seems that numerous people were terminated throughout the organization today. RTO su-ks for sure, it's pointless. Most of us are far less productive in the office than at home but it's not enough to make me quit. The culture shift has been drastic and sudden and people are worried! Finding space to work comfortably is a challenge. Sadly it feels like more is coming every day.
