I just left another soul-crushing meeting with management – it feels like I'm working for a pack of hyenas with clipboards. The politics here make high school look like a zen retreat. I'm so done with this. At this point, I’d take a job herding feral cats over another day in this toxic circus.

I worked on several projects at Medtronic until a year ago. I never had a problem with the direct managers, lead engineers, lead business analysts, or the directors. I thought they were all reasonable. I actually miss working with them.
My main problem was with the high-level executives sending a lot of jobs offshore (including mine) in multiple big batches. I had worked with medical devices or EHR for much of my career as a trained biomedical engineer. I even studied FDA regulations in a law school. I even know how to apply AI to medical imaging using PyTorch. But now I am in the financial industry. Go figure.
Left MDT several years ago. There are companies that are growing and supporting their teams, find one.
I have to admit, all my townhalls are pretty generic and never contain any useful information.
I feel you. Hang in there. Let's hope sunnier skies are ahead, wherever and whenever that may be!
Remember these pack of hyenas also have bosses who are probably worse.
