It’s going to impact Medtronic a lot. People keep missing a lot of the components of the supply chain where the price will go up like packaging and raw materials.

The new tariffs are the nail in the coffin for MDT. Most manufacturing is OUS. The impact is immense. LOTS of components come from China.
GM will use this as an excuse for the headwinds…

By looking at market reaction ,seems not much impact on MDT. Companies who have significant manufacturing outside have big impacts example Dexcom down big yesterday.

Have you ever said thank you once to the board and shareholders for outsourcing everything?

GM is the vice chairman of US-China business council. And China was slapped with 54% tariff today.

Why are we always on the wrong side of history? First inviting and supporting losers like Waltz and now this.

I already buy my own office supplies. Not worth the hassle of getting reimbursed.

We will likely have no choice but to eat cost or put suppliers out of business. Impact to Medtronic depends on how we are treating this on the sales side.
