I enjoyed on a call towards the beginning of fy24 when he laughed and joked about profits being good but don't expect raises as good.
Horrible company with leaders that lack integrity or accountability for thier own incompetence. Our CEO actually said last week that he liked the way the organization was structured - then they do this? Rest assured this will be a blessing for those of us affected.

IT side of Ricoh got hit too, I was one of the casualties.
Sorry to hear that you got caught up in this, but i just want to let you know there are more companies out there willing to hire 55 year olds than you would expect. Older workers tend to be more reliable, willing to follow directions and don't spend half there time looking for their next job. At least the copier industry gives you a wide variety of skills to focus on. I encourage to look outside of this industry as there are many that your skills overlap. Best of luck to you, wishing you only the best. I know it doesn't look like it right now, but in the end this could be the best thing that could happen to you.
Yep, got caught up in it today, just celebrated my 30th year in December, Ricoh has a funny way of saying thanks for all your hard work and dedication. I never left or hopped back and forth , been with them long before ikon even existed. I worked continuous forms, and industrial print which was NOT supposed to be touched because we’ve been cut too deep already. Oh well…. God is good and he’s got this. New career at 55 ok…whatever!
Confirmed I just heard of a few people that were let go.
