Or perhaps better said, the managers don't even know how to recognize the potential of their employees here? Later, when these people leave, they make big career moves in their new companies, and in a very short time. I don't like the direction this company is going in.

You are a cog in Fords wheel when you work here. If you can balance that knowledge with doing the work, keep learning and developing, meeting some truly talented coworkers, while always knowing your number might get called, you will do fine. But it’s a difficult balance.
When you come to Ford, your knowledge is dissipated into the environment by convection. You will be left without the ability to feed yourself.
I agree. I came to Ford with a lot of experience but no one here seems to want to know (just follow their protocol). Some of the processes are archaic
