Employees need to group together and demand security. This is toxic and feels like torture. I’m willing to stand.

Is the leadership such short sighted? They know about China ban and new administrations impacts when they did the previous round in Feb. They could have very well held that off until they reviewed the new developments and did the RIFs in one shot. Such incompetence decisions are always hard choices. D-mb leadership should stop making HARD CHOICES and start making smart choices. Lack of empathy is one thing but lack of respect speaks volume about the leadership character.

This will be just a self preservation charade where the senior director with his boot licking associate director, senior managers and managers shed some unfortunate non boot licking yet productive subordinates.

Do we know which departments are getting hit the hardest? R&D, commercial, others?

One RIF can be unfortunate, Two RIFs in a row might mean tough times. Eight? That’s systemic dysfunction.

Managers aren't being including in the discussions? Who is making the decisions then?

Managers will be notified next Monday and Tuesday who in their teams are impacted by the RIF. Impacted employees will be notified next Wednesday. Not sure which departments are impacted but this will be on the same level as the April 2023 $100M cuts. Been talks for a while there might even be a org restructure with the China news (back to APAC, EMEA and AMR?)

They just hired some communications person. Looks like they are trying to clean up their sh---y messages for the company meetings. Also looks like they canned their investor relations lady after the disastrous earnings call!

Why do we have sr. Director, Director and associate directors to support the finance system ? Is it merely to facilitate communication between senior directors, directors ?

What value are those roles adding when they engage consultants too ? Do they even know how to resolve any business system issues? It's the experienced employees of that team who regularly assist the business.

Cut hr and recruiters.. useless departments.. adding zero value to a company.. just automate and hire some competent head hunters as consultant when we start hiring again

There needs to be 5-6 sr. managers under a director and 4-5 directors under a sr. director. Else D level roles are not justified. Re org. is must.

With no growth prospects and stock tanking like the Titanic, RIFs will happen sooner vs. later. They aren’t waiting until June.

A Sr. Admin Partner has booked conference rooms in multiple buildings either half day or all day on the 16th. As far as I know that has only happened when there is a new round of layoffs.

They did layoffs in Feb and told those people their last day of work would be in April. Could this be what this is referring to? Or are they also now going to tell new people they lost their jobs?
