Funding gets diverted to Athina and her pet projects
The biggest issue with beverage marketing is our Share of Voice. If we're not reaching consumers, and our competitors are, we're going to lose in the marketplace. Pepsi & Dew TM's have been underfunded vs Coke and Dr Pepper TM's for almost two decades. We shifted to a "harvest" strategy, and our competition didn't.
Unfortunately it really doesn’t matter because you’re only as good as your team. The entire team has been weakened by mismanagement of hiring the best candidate for the job. It will take years to get the right team in place to start winning in the marketplace again…….if ever. When Dr Pe—— beat out Pep I knew we had officially lost our edge. HR has ruined this company and continues to do it. The only difference is they’re doing it now in sheep’s clothing
Better than the last one but it will be morning the same still.
PepsiCo never promotes the people who are actually are good leaders. Just a club of butt kissers and politicians focused on their next move to make even more money.
