Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Why take a year? Consultant fees.

Transformation was done in one go. How is this more complicated like HR said? It’ll be torture for Wave 2 folks. Plus standing up orgs that aren’t complete. McK or EY probably recommended to drag out their fees. Well done, well done. See you again in 4 more years because you’ll recommend that another way is the latest and greatest org design.

These a--holes will move on, they won't be judged by success of our company, they have short term and plainly compromised incentives. It's a mystery why all the C suite loves them, they are incompetent.

Your post is not logical. You know the CEO will bring them back in 4 years but still bewildered every reorg and upset at the consultant's. The CEO pulls the string for both Reorg and Engine. The American CEO reducing roles and outsourcing while getting a bigger bonus.

McK and EY are the smartest people in the room. That’s why they’re so successful at … at … wait, what do they actually do again?

Oh yeah, tell people how to run businesses that they themselves have never run.

EY and McK is like the highly-paid sports coach whose never played a match.
