Exclude From Headcount

Heard from a source that 'exclude from headcount' selected as 'yes' under workday job details means you're out of scope for the reorg. Any truth to this? What about 'job exempt'?

Yeah you can check that box and they can’t let you go. Nice little loop hole

Most should say no. It doesn’t mean anything for the ROM. The tools that anybody on the reorg team is using is static excel spreadsheets. HR does not know how to use Workday and real systems to manage an event as big as this. Excel is their tool of choice. You’re all reading too much into what you see in workday lmao

Job Exempt = Yes - means you are not eligible for over time pay. e.g. a salary employee

Exclude from headcount = No - means your position is included for budget purposes meaning your department has a budget where these positions are counted against.

Exclude from headcount applies to a non CVX employee ie a contract staff, contractor, consultant or exec.

Some real Einsteins in this thread talking about exempt yes or no and all it means is whether or not you can get paid for overtime.

Nah. Exclude from Headcount yes/no may just imply to if u are recorded as a CVX employee or not and whose role is part of the organization. A contractor , a temp etc would necessarily be Excluded.

@a8+1jqjbd4xt go to 'job' under your work day profile. Under the 'Job Details' click your position next to 'Position'. Look to the far right at the bottom of the page, it says 'Exclude from Headcount'.

Mine says yes.
