I could be wrong, but I thought this was in the works for a couple years. The building is massive and hasn’t been occupied or utilized. If they sold the GTIC maybe they could keep more people employed. Unfortunately there’s probably not a lot of buyers.
They might as well close the GTIC.
They are getting rid of all the US based workers.
Also, based on their LinkedIn posts, they are celebrating opening the India building for the US worker replacements!
I mean, it’s about time… like half or more of the building is rented or occupied by other companies. I feel like them closing it completely is a sign of what’s to come for US based “office” employees.
There goes all the choreography and merriment! 😭 not to mention the waffles.
