What do they do to get ready for special train in your area? I see them clean windows on the trackside of depots. Clean up weeds at signal huts, pick up trash . MTM sweeps the concrete ties on wye track. I always leave town when the train coming. .

My managers prepare their noses for some good ol’ bu-t sniffing. “Hey boss, you’re so funny (fake laugh at a stupid joke), looks like you dropped something, sniff sniff sniff.”
My Manager is a professional officer bu-t kisser. He can't wait to see fritz and other show up and kiss thier butts
They have us paint over all the graffiti that can be seen from the tracks, even tho it will be revandalized in 24hrs. Cant have the big dogs thinking there is a need for railroad police, security, or realize management wastes resources by wastefully having employees redo things over and over again bcuz God forbid management speaks up to tell them to spend some money to really fix something permanently.
Ive seen them rent trees from the nursery and planted them in the railroad yard where the train was gonna stop over night and removed the trees after the train left.

In my area, everyone will panic! Usually the local management will drive around all day making sure that the areas are clean to executive standards. Then the management will make sure that all crew members always have something to do to keep them out of sight to give the illusion that management there is actually working hard. Finally the management will cautiously remove their noses from the uppers a$$ in preparation for their departure to another location.
