If GSR 8 is about mid range how much promo money to LL6 ?

For LL6 positions at Ford Motor Company, the salary range typically falls between $102,600 and $193,800 annually and GSR range appears to be about same.

Negating any pay increase, one would be remiss if they didn't closely examine thier life situation before accepting an LL6 role. Things get exponentially harder. A high paid GSR is where you want to be. LL6's get abused and abuse each other. It's pure survival and a blame game. You have to be borderline sadists to consider it unless you're that desperate for a title. Between a high paid GSR and LL6 there is little change but title...oh and you'll have a vehicle shoved at you that you have to pay for as a condition of the job. Accept it? Watch your waistline grow and your hair begin to grey and / or fall out as you begin to comfort eat and drink. Oh, and if your chasing a title, your part of the problem.

GSR8 does not have the same band as LL6. The LL6 bonus is 14%. Merit is usually based on where you are currently in your band + performance

You don't aspire to be an LL6 for the $ or the glory. Some see it as a springboard to LL5, etc. It's a tougher job than GSR, if you want to do it honestly. You can do the LL6 job politically, and make the jump to LL5, but you will leave some bodies behind.

Typically if promoting a gsr to the LL band, we try to give the maximum allowed increase (at least in our corner of ET). Typically this is about 10%. In the event that still doesn't bring the compensation to the band minimum, then they'd get additional to bring them to that level (I've only seen this once with a regular GSR who had been with Ford a while getting promoted into an LL6 HTHD role)
