Medtronic has made it crystal clear that there’s nothing left to stick around for. When this lousy leadership treats layoffs as the only fix for their many messes, it says everything about their incompetence and lack of direction. Anyone still thinking there's a future here should rethink their options.

I'm currently looking for another engineering jobs similar to what I have now and they are all in India.
I used to work at Medtronic a year ago until my job went overseas. I have done consulting in the financial industry since then. The key is to diversify your skills. When I was at Medtronic, a lot of engineers focused on a niche area. I remember people who only worked on iOS Swift programming and nothing else. I also knew developers who only worked on python and just AWS. It's best to expand beyond that. If one knows iOS apps, then also try learning Android. If one knows python, then expand and learn ultra-advanced AI (PyTorch), etc. If one has been a long-time SQL relational DB developer, then learn No-SQL too like Mongo DB or DynamoDB. There are plenty of inexpensive Udemy sites to do so.
I had given up on the medical device/healthcare IT field after decades given the way Medtronic ended for me. I am in hot demand in the financial industry with one live project and a chance to do a 2nd. But suddenly, I got notice of a potential healthcare IT project requiring python, Java, SQL and HIPAA. I was very SURPRISED. I had given up on that world. That might actually happen despite the offers I already have in front of it. We'll see.
In summary, diversify. The job search is like mixed martial arts - the more diverse your skills are then the more likely you will survive. Best wishes!
Been looking but no luck. Is anyone getting interviews ?
TBH, there aren't many good companies that are hiring.
