This is the only retail company that I've worked at where managers don't work nights and Sundays. And take off during holiday weekends.

Had a Store Manager who never followed the rotation, so on the request calendar I’d put myself off for 2 weekends every month. She never worked Sundays and never closed, when she did work a Saturday she’d be gone by noon. Was never questioned me because I came from another store that followed the rotation. The managers at this particular location knew nothing of the rotation and thought it was normal to be scheduled every weekend. There is an actual printed copy of what managers are required to work, that’s somehow kept a secret. However, I had an awesome MBA that pulled me aside when I was first hired and had me take a picture and said “keep this handy”..and I can see why he did that.
We get one weekend off in a 6 week rotation. If we have a pto week on the books that counts towards it. Nothing is fair in our store, good ole boy system still in play. Will continue
Not at our location. My store manager even does Sundays and closing shifts.
At my location Sales Managers get two weekends off in our six week rotation, every other Manager the OOM , SMM , MBA and Store Manager gets two weekends off a month
At my store we managers work 4 Saturdays and 3 Sundays in a 6 week period.

The managers at my store GET TWO weekends off a month. I don't get any off unless I put in either pto or flex or unavailable days.
Managers do have two weekends a month off but they expect associates to be there every weekend plus work more than two night while they only work one.
Your comment is a total fabrication. I’ve been here 25+ years and in every location managers work nights and Sundays.
My managers never worked weekends. I’d just get a text message early morning on what to do.

It is my understanding store managers aren’t required to work nights or Sundays, as traffic dictates. My store manager will work one night a week and is on a Sunday rotation on the executive schedule. She does not get to work before 9 or 930 but she always puts in her time and then some which is more than I can say for other store managers we have had. As a CXM I work 2 nights a week (Sunday closings don’t count as a closing shift as we close at 7) and get 6 weekend days off out of a 6 week period, which come down to two full weekends and 2 other weekend days out of a 6 week period. She really does her best to accommodate executive team requests off but has given us all the boundaries. We’re a small team so we need to also think of others. My store manager is not one of my favorites but I do respect how she handles schedules.

As a manager, I can tell you I work many weekends.
I haven't seen a manager work a Sunday at our store, in years.
That must be nice. At our store managers have to work two weekends a month (Friday, Saturday) and at least 1 Sunday on 3 off.
