I'm still unsure if it was a good decision, but I preferred to accept the offer with a lower pay, than to stay here in an increasingly toxic atmosphere. Considering these uncertain times, I guess it is!?
Several of my colleagues also left this place for a slightly worse offer.

Just folks with your mindset will be left and that makes it a terrible place to work.
Enjoy the an-l probe to keep track of you. You will get paid for wearing it, so all is good on that front.
Pay cut is better than no pay.

i do not like to work, so i try to work for as much as i can while doing it
making less money makes no sense
a new floor has been established, and floors are tough to raise
your pay cut will echo through your entire lifetime of earnings
