Thread regarding Fannie Mae layoffs

Layoffs coming soon

All contractors from my department have been fired. I expect FTEs will be targeted next. Going back to office seems to be their way of doing soft layoffs.

14 of 17 contractors were let go including me. I'm wondering how many got impacted by the Friday layoff.

I am a fully remote worker - I fear I am next. I hope we at least get severance as the job market in my state is not great at all and my family depends on me for benefits
