CX Cut Way Too Deep - Many Exits

Some info for people wondering what's going on in CX...

Cuts were made across the board in teams that were already struggling, entire segments of CX were let go with no rhyme or reason (and no documentation), and everyone who was left, was required to pick up the slack. Even if they were already overburdened or have no clue how to do the roles that were let go.

Entire essential teams/large segments of teams (like partner incentives) were let go, with no one to pick up the work. Now months later, customer facing information isn't getting populated and the answer over and over again is "Yeah, we cut that whole team".

"Do we have any of their work?"

"Nah, there was no one to hand it off to."

"So we have to make it all from scratch with no idea what we're making, no team to do it, no resources, and no idea what we're doing?"

"Yep."

Besides that, it seems like they're still planning more cuts, moral is at all time lows, there haven't been raises in years, and just about anyone can get a higher paying job, doing more interesting things, elsewhere.

Just about everyone I know is looking & leaving.

You are correct in this assessment. My team developed, maintained, and had long roadmaps for many CX customer facing tools and platforms at the time we were released. There were no exit interviews.

agree with you there - MM was a dumpster fire.

This is Chuck's fault for hiring and promoting MM. This is just the continued fall out from that train wreck.

Only CX management is to be blamed for this huge mess. No strategy and planning, and all they are good at is protecting themselves. It’s about time ELT cleans this mess once and for ever to eliminate every managerial layer from FLM to ELT. One big swooshing is all that is needed. A bold move now could save the company.

CX has no ROI what else ELT can do ?
Some of them fired last year able to enter through back door. HR and ELT have no ethics
