Those which didn't receive are BU funded or less than 1 year at the same position or on PIP

since they were wrong about layoffs this past earnings...
Actually some of us pointed out the amount of bodies Cisco still had to get rid of based on the money leftover from the first round of layoffs it could be accomplished through attrition, slower hiring and PIPs. Without real numbers no one knows if the body count went down by the same amount using different techniques.
Some of us are also wondering where that $4B in annual revenue Splunk was generating before the acquisition closed has gone because if they're still at that level they're covering up major losses elsewhere.

I see in the directory that some mo--ns are back in Cisco after laid off in 2024. It might go back to same rat hole and fighting in meetings :)
These boot lickers and lickees always survive in the industry. Cisco is the fantastic place for such parasites. If they have re-employee them then why did they layoff ? HR is totally puppets, no ethics, no policy and no morality
There is nothing good about a sudden blanket promotion but a hidden agenda of raise and dump. Most in CX have not received any pay raise in years specially if in targeted grades 10 and 11. Below that one is too junior to even know what it means. After laying off thousands it may be an attempt to patch things little, to shift employees morale.

Recently I know someone who went from grade 4 to grade 6, and apparently they are going to be moved to grade 8 eventually.
I think I heard somewhere, either in office or on this site, that they are staggering the moves due to budget. Maybe waiting to approve people who aren't gonna be LRed?
Nothing. No one I know within the targeted grades have received anything. I'm guessing leadership put it on hold either because they are pi---d, and/or because they realized how stupid it is to do a blanket promo.
