Thread regarding Ford layoffs

To all the losers in Integrated Services…

A currently unemployed, former Lululemon 🤣🤣🤣 executive is a better fit for creating vehicle software than any of you are:

Ford announced Friday that Michael Aragon will replace Peter Stern as Ford's president of Integrated Services.
Aragon, who starts Monday, will report to Ford CEO Jim Farley.
Aragon served most recently as CEO of Mirror and Lululemon Digital Fitness with Lululemon Athletica Inc.
A day after the Ford Motor Co. board praised CEO Jim Farley for bringing fresh talent to the company, the Dearborn-based automaker announced another top hire: a former executive from Lululemon clothing company to run Ford's integrates services division.

Michael Aragon will replace Peter Stern as Ford's president of Integrated Services. Stern left Ford in December to become CEO of Peloton Interactive. Aragon starts his job Monday and will report directly to Farley.

LULULEMON MAKES STRETCH PANTS!!!

The new guy won’t be here much longer than Stern was. He needed a job and accepted it, and will learn soon enough that Integrated Services is all smoke and mirrors. There is no path to profitability for that group.

LOL @bs+1jpbj7vek I myself know I am not the poster boy for Lycra, but for practical reasons I do wear Lycra while bicycling. A bee flew up my loose shorts once while bicycling and the bee freaked out and stung me where it hurts. The ladies got a show as I dropped trow to release the bee. After that it was Lycra all the way. Now I refrain from commenting on who should be wearing Lycra.

All these outside hires have seriously crippled the company from executing product. They come in with the hubris that they are the smartest person in the room, then find out that they are not. They then sabotage the whole process by injecting unnecessary asks to prove they are the boss that take time away from doing the important work. This is evidenced by the showroom lineup. Have not had an all new vehicle since 2021 (exception is Nautilus but that was farmed out to China), hmm, I think Doug Field started around that time. The showroom is stale, unexciting. If Farley and the outside help does not go, consider this company’s fate sealed.

I was going to post that what Lululemon needs to create is a mirror that showed people what their backsides look like in those pants. I looked up the company and lo and behold, they did create a mirror. Apparently, they haven’t sold enough of them to get people who should not be wearing stretch pants to stop.

Just what we didn’t need, another job hopper:

At Lululemon Athletica Inc., Aragon was CEO of the Lulemon Studio fitness platform. He also previously was chief content officer of Twitch, Amazon.com Inc.'s livestreaming service particularly known for gaming. He's also worked as a general manager for Crunchyroll parent, Ellation Inc., and as vice president for Sony Group Corp.’s PlayStation Network.

Lululemon made Victoria Secret obsolete by thinking outside of the box.

They mainly hired him because he made mirrors that spy on you... the stretchy pants experience was just icing on the cake!

Hey, but we had hired a CEO from a file cabinet company. Who knows, stretchy pants might do better 🤣
