Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

I just want to go home and lie down, but I can’t.

Guys, I’m sick. I’m cold. I have 4.5 points and little PPTO. As I get older, I get sick more often.

I have plenty of PTO and 117 sick hours that I’ll probably never be able use.

I just want to go home and lie down, but I can’t. I’ll bet you’ve had days like this too. Right now I just wish Walmart took better care of their associates.

Take care of yourselves and each other.

Figure out some way to claim your 117 hours. Get a doctors note for a family member and take your time back.

Master Blaster AKA kick them when they are down. Your department ? Your some kind of a leader ? You inspire people as a team? You sure do ring of respect for the individual. Sounds like the culture in corporate. Well good luck thats the only thing thats not likely to happen to you.

How is it being set up to fail? What other job allows you to earn PPTO, where you could potentially call in more than 30 times a year?? People love to play that card too, get to 4.5, let them all fall off, then call in again. It's great when the people in my department call in over and over and we get left with all of the work.

Its called being set up to fail. It increases bonuses in the long run. Corporate walmart sees you as an expense. They have taught you retail they cant take that away from you.
