If you were laid off or fired from IBM between March 10 to 15, please share which country, state, and division you were part of, the severance package details ( if applicable), and whether you feel you were discriminated against during the process.

Denver location, Information Technology, protected classes (more than 1). Lump sum payoff will likely hit a higher tax bracket versus regularly scheduled payments. Got a brand new hire from India very recently.
IBM senior executive appeared in front of the EU Workers Rights Commission on Feb 13 in Munich to justify human capital adjustments across Europe. There are 14 member states that will not be effected by the recent reorg but they are restructuring their support services and outsourcing to countries laces like the Philippines and India amongst other cheap labour countries. No mention of the US in the official document

I have heard there will be marketing layoffs as ibm move towards amazons builder ratio model. If you don’t touch the product you are at risk.
I have not heard of any US based software yet in RA situation. Is still early.. i’m sure it will come within the next month or two
