Thread regarding Fidelity Investments layoffs

Tech Reorg announced

Why do managers try to keep things a secret. This site called tech layoffs in April, months ago. Sleepy Joe is gone guys, (not a Trump supporter) wake up. People have eyes.

FBOT and FI tech teams are moving under Bob Mascalino. It did look like one of the leaders would only be helping during the transition.

I doubt it, people see different things. I am not sure if there will be layoffs. It looks like a reorg will happen and there will be some people who are affected but probably not a large group. They always hit low performers, sometimes they go after groups that are not too busy. Maybe I am naive.

What Tech re-org? And are the impacts of this re-org resulting in layoffs?

Not saying I disagree with the sentiment here but the post is vague and indirect.
