I'm sure during Hock's travels he realized customers hate and don't trust him.
His post is complete and utter BS. How in the world is he going to improve and expand VMware's business more than it already has, by not raising prices?

Hock is not a technologist, and mid to high-grade technologists don't want to work for him.

He has a proven track record of raising prices and reducing the quality of support. Google "Broadcom sucks" and you will read many candid stories from CA and Symantec customers about how they can't even get a callback, ever since he took over.

Even if you fire Betsy, and all her staff that only excel in creating pointless meetings that waste everyone's time educating us about the 28 genders its still not enough to hit his stated profitability goals. Not by a long shot.

He already stated openly he only cares about VMware's top 600 customers, that represent 50%+ of VMware's revenue. Everyone else can go to he-l as far as he's concerned, just like he did with CA and Symantec.
I seriously hope no one is falling for this cr-p!
