The only customers they think they need now are Hyperscalers. Bulk dark fiber leases won’t save this company! Look back 25 years and see what happened then.

My area we are dealing with multiple unhappy customers and disconnects. lol we all sweat bullets when a potential customer asks for references as all our major customers hate us
If you think you do a good job but Lumen is the problem, then it's time to move onto a new company because Lumen will always be a cog in your wheel.
I will most likely lose my job in sales since it seems like I am selling thin air when I get excuses from delivery team etc.
Only good thing is Lumen is allowing me to grow my contact base when I leave Lumen. Lumen doesn’t know how much they are damaging their future with all the sales people being let go because when we work for competitors can tell them first hand how cr-ppy Lumen support is and really has no product
Absolutely not. Anyone looking at joining Sales should read this site and Glassdoor. You will need to weed out the 5-Stars in Glassdoor since they were written by Lumen plants. Only about 10% of LE reps have hit their number in the past three years. In that time, the disconnect rates and limited 1-year renewals have skyrocketed. Customers have been neglected for years, there is no opportunity to sell anything new. Plus, Lumen has nothing new that 10 other competitors don't have for much cheaper and will actually be installed on dates committed.
Too many customers want to leave us not buy from us. I wouldn't be surprised if sellers quit or be let go due to not hitting quota this year.
highly doubt it. Kate and her team seemed to be more interested in hiring opportunities in special events planning and esoteric "analysis" than they do real positions that would further along this company, if that's even possible. Keep posting pictures of internal "summits" between teams, VOMF, and other "feel good" things that drive no revenue. Getting awards for being a "Remote worker" company doesn't really pay the bills
No because product teams are then roadblock with non competitive pricing or deny to take on deal all together always citing resource constraints
