Severance?

Is the 2025 round of PEP related terminations being accompanied by severance? If so, how much? Is the amount at the discretion of terminating departments discretion, based on years of service @2 weeks of pay/yr, as in the past or is it a token month’s salary as you get unceremoniously kicked out the door?

Back in the day the company leadership used downturns as times to invest in PD so that when the economy brightened we’d have product to delight our customers. Now the company routinely chops the best (most expensive) talent and chases quarterly returns. Zero long term thinking has been disastrous for the company.

Agree @ac+1...OP, I think the company would be in a much better position today if Fields was at the helm for more years. Fields was moving slow on EVs for business reasons, there was no immediate return on investment. Hybrids were working and should have been the core strategy. Fields never got credit for being a great leader; he actually called everyone promoted to LL4 and above with a congrats. Pushing back with data got him canned after only 3 years as CEO. After Fields retires, it should have been Joe Hinrichs who was another great leader. He just happens to be CEO at CSX. Sorry for all the history from an old retired guy. Praying the company can thrive again one day soon.

BF asked this administration for help w/Europe to "force" them to buy F150 or else. Italy, Turkey and Hungary already agreed to buy F150's for their government utility vehicles. This administration is supporting BF because of their friendship. Go m a g a :-)
Ford is closing DEI office and reviewing all those ones promoted due to DEI policy :-)

Billy has totally sc--wed Ford over. 2 billion dollar train station. 10 billion
Loss on EVs in the last 2 years. And then there is Fartley 🤮

Billy’s “we are family” mantra was a lie. He hates ICE his bread and butter. He despises the buyers of F150’s because they didn’t buy into his wet dream BEV lightening.

Fields warned the entire industry that profitability of EVs was going to be very difficult. BF cast him to the side and said he was moving to slow and hired Hackett the furniture guy that spent 6 or 9 months in some gig on the west coast. Shortly after that BF thought it would be a great idea to buy the train station paraded 50 - 75 west coast new hires and said they were the future of Ford Motor Company.

No bs I was there.

Depends on the region, Canadians get better severance than those in Detroit. Pretty crazy difference actually.

I gots 9 months in 2022... by buddy who just got the axe in Dec got 9 months.

We both had plus 30...

Never in our wildest dreams did we think it would end so badly..

We did see the some signs but Hackett gave the final blow.
