Seen one depressed looking operator in his truck and a recent arrival immigrant that recently hired on.

Oh well! Give me my retroactive pay and I will go away quick

The few who are still here are DRASTICALLY overloaded. Where I am its NOT a good place to contract this kinda work out, the contractors dont like working around the yards and keep raising their rates.

There’s still a few electricians left but not many. A lot of them left after being furloughed during PSR which I don’t blame them for that. The few left are always under the radar and 95% of their work gets subcontracted out. I would imagine in time ALL or most maintenance craft will be eliminated but who knows.

I believe most or all of the electrician jobs were abolished. I haven't seen an electrician since mid 2019.
