Trash service

Ok, let's be serios.serious.. how long do they really think they can suspend trash service? A week? Ok, 2? Trash to the ceiling. 3? Throwing it out the back door?
Compactor? 3 weeks max before we're stacking boxes to the ceiling.
Who the F thought this was a good idea?

It doesn't matter that not all stores are affected. Why are any of our stores dealing with this? It's just more ridiculousness with this company. Non payment?? It's embarrassing.

Not every store is affected, DRM placed a hold on service for non-payment.

If you have a different service provider such as Republic, you’re good.

Some stores have separate providers for dumpsters and compactors, so may be partially affected.

That’s why some of the stores don’t know anything about it, the message was only sent to affected stores.

Is this a company wide thing? I asked our ops manager about it and he had no idea. We don’t currently have an SM

Yes, the notice went out yesterday. 3 weeks of consolidated freight coming in, and they pull this sh-t? I'm at a loss for words.

Landlords have let BBBY get away with anything in my experience. It's a symbiotic deal. We'll put up with leaking roofs if you'll ignore rats in the lofts. And of course BBBY also had to ignore poor Drainage in lot that turned the middle of it into a lake. Signs had to be posted as heavy rain resulted in engine level flooding. I used to call it Lake Beyond. Must have been one heck of a lease!

Did they really do this? I'm in CA and our building manager is a stickler for everything. I can't imagine the property people letting this fly.

I'll only say corporate doesn't care. They don't have to work in it. And that isn't being flippant about it. Most of them never worked a sales floor in their lives, much less receiving or a loft.
