When the senior leadership of any company experiencing so called “hard times” gets major salary increases while laying off thousands and those left get less than a 1% increase - you know you’re in the wrong place. There is little if anything inspiring about PepsiCo any longer. Save for my immediate work team who are mostly decent - this corporation has seen its best days long ago. Our current “project” involves mapping out every minute detail of how we do our roles. More than likely we are writing the script to our unemployment show once these processes are handed over to Mexico, India or some other low wage company. 45 years in the labor market and I can say with near certainty that this is about as ruthless of a company you will ever have the displeasure of associating with. If offered an interview or job - run and run fast. And if you must take it for the money - keep one foot firmly out the door.

Post is spot on. The company used to be run well. It’s a bunch of arrogant know it alls now that have no idea how to prioritize resources. Keep spending all of your time thinking about Pepsi zero. That will save us.
Pepsi is awful anyway. I like Coke much better.
