We have to deal with too much work, sleep deprivation, and daily mental and physical stress, among many other things. At the same time, our pay has dropped below industry standard while the company has been seeing record profits for quite a while. My friends at Shell indicated they spend much less time working for the same or more money.
I work in Europe projects, virtually nothing to do, so very happy with my Exxon salary.
The real joke is the massive bandwidth between the busy and the less busy.
How much are you getting paid and how many hours are you working?
