Thread regarding Ford layoffs

This is all the the stats I needed to know! Ford vs Doordash

F stock: $9.49/share Market cap: $37.22B

DASH stock: $202.25/share Market cap: $84.96B

DASH's price swings the last couple of days have been more that Ford's stock price!

We are worth less than a company with virtually no assets! 🤣

"Stop it with blaming Model e or our leadership for your perceived issues with the company."

Model e are a bunch of fancy show dogs with papers that get rewarded for consecutive years of failure. When will it stop?

Obviously spoken by someone who does not work in Model e nor is HTHD.

Stop it with blaming Model e or our leadership for your perceived issues with the company.

Do you understand that in order for people to purchase the subscriptions software and data they need to be put into cars that customers want to buy? It seems like that's the big problem right now this company can't an affordable reliable vehicle that anybody's going to waste their money on.

@as+1jmmdqfvz I do all of why they claim they can with a one time purchase of a $25 Apple air tag and my iPhone. Tag is hidden in the vehicle. I get alerts from the vehicle and can locate it. No subscription payment necessary. Whoever came up with this idea needs to go work somewhere else.

If Ford was just the F150, we’d be more profitable and better positioned.
Eliminating Model e, and Integrated Services (and all their losing subscription ideas) would make us $6 Billion more annually. Additionally, if we cut 2/3 of the BOD and every Ford family member, all their friends, and all their pet projects (GAP clothing, racing) we’d have another billion in profits. Eliminate Farley, his exorbitant salary and expenses, there’s another $50 million saved.

@as+1jmmdqfvz They should try to get people to subscribe to door locks that keep vehicle thieves out of their vehicles.

@ar+1jmmdqfvz hopefully someday you will understand that losing $5 Billion annually is not sustainable for long, especially for a company with a market cap of only $36 billion and debt of over $106 Billion.

@ac+1jmmdqfvz the annual dollar value of the subscriptions Ford us trying to sell, and failing, don’t cover the cost of Farley’s use of corporate aircraft. And the latest $8.99 per month to get your insurance deductible paid by Ford when your F150 gets stolen is laughable.

Now do you people understand why investment in Model e and especially the data/software/services arms are so important to the company?

It has been explained many times.

there is a reason it is called fraud street
people are just making money off of manipulating the share price
without producing something tangible

This highlights the leadership problem. Ford's assets alone are worth way more than either of these market caps. But due to terrible mismanagement the company is a sub $40 billion market cap. That's not just a shame, that's a debacle!!

And it all falls at the feet of the Ford family. Jimbo is a figurehead. His ru-p is lubed for where Bill's hand goes. Bill is a failed leader that the Ford family keeps propping up. This market cap is a disaster that should require all heads to roll, preferred stock to be dissolved, and a complete top down reorganization of the entire company.

Anything short of that and you better be ready to hop off this train that's headed for a bridgeless gorge.

this is why there is so much focus on selling subscriptions etc

door dash gets people to use their own vehicles. it's like ford saying to GM: hey we dont want to build a new factory, can we use yours without paying hardly anything for it? by the way, we are also going to wear down your tooling and machinery and all aspects of your physical plant.

and GM saying: ok! go ahead! no problem!
