Does anyone know anything about Gainwell reducing the number of PTO days or vacation hours a person can take, people who have for many years been able to take 200 hours or 5 weeks are now told we can only take 3 weeks time in a year?

No they can't read. Being unable to read is a requirement to be a Gainwell lifer.
This went into effect years ago. Do you lifers just not read your emails? Rhetorical question, of course you don't.
That is the policy and has been for a while now.
False. The policy is posted for all to see. Here is some of it:
- 1.6. Vacation request that exceeds an annual total (January-December) of three (3) work
weeks (15 workdays, assuming a 5-days work week) must be pre-approved by the
employee’s manager and next (or second) level manager.
- 1.7. Vacation requests that exceed an annual total (January-December) of five (5) work
weeks (25 workdays, assuming a 5-day work week) must be pre-approved by the
employee’s manager, the next (or second) level manager, and a Vice President of
Human Resources.
