I am a recent hire (eight months in), and my workload has decreased significantly over the past two months. I have been making an effort to stay busy and asking for additional tasks, but my manager seems entirely uninterested. Does this mean I am as good as gone? I understand that "not having enough work" is not a typical complaint, but I need this job.

I’m in the same exact situation. Use it to your advantage. I’ve been grinding out certifications with no work. This company is a sh-tshow and we’ll probably be outsourced in the next year ish
