Thread regarding Phillips 66 layoffs

Are Borger shake ups starting?

Rumor has it that the HR manager was fired on Friday the 21st. Other HR personnel have jumped ship and are rumored to be leaving as well. Maintenance department is severely top heavy, I can see alot of changes coming there as well. There are several other RLT members that will probally be axed, and some that need to be, but won't. Break out the popcorn and see how the house of cards coming down.

Operations is the biggest backwoods cluster I've ever seen in my 40 years with the company. Several Area Managers that couldn't run a Family Dollar much less an operating unit.

Borger is a Company Town! No other employer of consequence for 50 miles. Good ole boy network is alive and well in the TX panhandle. Under-educated, uninformed, lazy people promoted over start hard working types all the time. Biggest reason I fought hard to get transferred out of that wasteland.

I’m wondering if when Malformation fails miserably, as it inevitably will and actually already has, will the ELT be forced to own their massive blunder and face consequences?

I believe you when you state how bad Borger is. The problem is the people that put them in power and are keeping them in power are the same people ruining our company with Malformation.

Borger is the perfect example of the incompetence and corruption a organization finds itself having when friends and beer drinking buddies are promoted over those of higher and better qualifications.
