GE downsizing Boston HQ, pursuing sale of NY campus ( cited from a news headline article) there will be big layoffs for Schenectady. Smoke and mirrors served with Corprate drink was bought and sold by the union. The Next 3 years of the unthinkable service work load is never been herd of in 30 years. You want to know why? Because they are trying to sell the place and keep the union in house till after the sale. Smoke and mirrors it just sounds to good to be true to many. Only the unskilled T’s would feed into it. Bob Barker just sold the T’s a line of BS and the T’s bought it.

In addition to downsizing in Boston, the company will wind down its physical space at some other corporate sites and pursue a sale of Crotonville learning campus in Ossining, New York. GE will consolidate office space in Norwalk, Connecticut, and exit its facility at Madison Avenue in New York in December.

I see something happening here. If service work is off the books like the company and union says. Then why is GE selling 273? Because it’s smoke and mirrors and 273 is going to get hit with a bunch of job eliminations. Ohhhh give me a h…l yeah
