Looking back it’s pretty obvious when this once great company began its downward spiral to get to what it is today. It’s when it quit promoting from within a started hiring outsiders to fill the ELT.

His being an insider is the reason he should never had been selected for the role. Not transformational in the slightest.
E only made it to the ELT because the outsiders carried him along. They saw a very pliable ball of putty could be shaped into anything they wanted. On his own he’s a pip squeak.
