Thread regarding Bio-Rad Laboratories Inc. layoffs

Continued layoffs

Bio-Rad continues to layoff employees, they do not report layoffs as required. Every year, in February or March, just prior to their annual financial disclosure, there is a new round of layoffs. This year, February 2025, there was yet another round of layoffs. I have been searching for a press release or an announcement of some kind and none can be found. Bio-Rad is a shady company and has been ever since junior took over the company from dad. Dad ran a good company. Junior has run Bio-Rad into the ground with poor management and even worse leadership.

yes, more than 50 employees were laid off in Feb, 2025. It was about 130-150 in CA. They kept people on payroll for 60 days in lieu of the WARN notification and gave them severance pay also.

Many long term employees were terminated without any regard to their value to the company. The knowledge loss alone will create both short and long term problems that apparently are of no concern to those in charge.

I think that more than 50 people in California were laid off on 2/10/2025, but it was in different locations.

The layoff on 2/10/25 was the 60 day notice, in other words Employees have 60 days from 2/10/25. This doesn't sound like how WARN works, but I'm assuming they checked this out legally before doing it.

Does anyone know if they layoff more than 50 people in California? Cause if they did, Bio-rad didn't give California a 60-day warning. Meaning they've opened themselves to a fine and paying everyone affected.
