Has anyone utilized LHH Career Services from the severance package and actually gotten a job? The only service I need from them is a direct hire for a job the rest is useless to me. I dont want to waste my time if they aren't successfully helping people obtain full time salaried jobs.

My LHH person wasn't out of India, she was local and helpful but they are not job placement services, just helpful on LinkedIn, resume and where / how to look, network, etc.
My person isn't from India, and I actually enjoy talking with him. The resume that they created for me was professional, their advice on how to hit the keywords was spot on and the access to the LinkedIn training courses is great. Other than that, there is no actual help in finding a new role, but that's the role of headhunters.
I had no expectations with them, but my coach was actually insightful. They had 30 years of experience in management before transitioning over to LHH so I guess I lucked out. I was also pleased with their help resume help. I didn't leverage them for much else.
It's not a employment agency, you need to find your own job. LHH was okay, it's what you make of it. It's good, especially if you haven't been in the job market or made a resume in 20 years. In Plano years ago, they had a weekly meeting for anyone using their services, so that provided a community for everyone who was in the same layed-off situation. It was good for networking with people from different companies, backgrounds, listening to what they were doing etc That is where I got a tip about a company I never heard of before, I went home, looked them up and long story, short, 3 weeks later I was working for them and Pepsico was just a bad memory in the rear view memory.
+1 on the point below about this being a check box for PepsiCo that does not add any "real" value to your job search post layoff. As someone who was laid off a few years back, my opinion is that the sole purpose of this program is so that PepsiCo can make the argument that PepsiCo lays its associates off with empathy and a path forward. Sadly its quite the opposite.
Surprisingly, I received far better advice and genuine help from my state's unemployment office - which was able to direct me to specific job postings relevant to my skill set as well as constructively critique my job search tactics.
The person that is contacting me is not out of India. I see her credentials on LinkedIn. She keeps trying to connect with me relentlessly: phone, email, LinkedIn, I havent bothered connecting with her because I feel like the person needs to check off a box in order to get paid for helping me by doing nothing that actually matters. And for the benefit of Pepsi to say they "helped". I dont need coaching or a resume review I need employment. If they aren't sending me interviews or immediate contract work then I am not responding.
They really don't help. They're out of India. They just give you pointers on your resume and a couple of interview videos. Not much of anything. I believe it's just another program to check a box to get government funding.
