Everybody should start quiet quitting

That’s about all LSEG deserves from us at this point. In fact, I’ve decided it’s my New Year’s resolution. From now on, I’m going to make sure I do just the bare minimum. It won’t be easy - many of us have been conditioned to believe we owe this company our all in exchange for the bare minimum compensation. But I’m determined to break out of that mindset and give only what’s absolutely necessary.

Since bonuses are cut and salaries won't increase (practically) at all we can safely assume that we are are encouraged to leave ourselves.

All this to lower the redundancy expenses.

No No No, if all the productive employees quiet-quit, who would take the time to watch mandatory 20 minute long unskippable videos to learn about DEI so some CXO can get his bonus for 100% completion of learning?

LSEG D&A is just a Ponzi scheme at this point for the divisional heads to collect salary and stock. No sane company would give these people anywhere close to what they make at LSEG, and they basically run around looking busy while executing on nothing.

They use marketing to keep pushing out vaporware videos and announcements for products that are never coming and, if they ever do, they are years late and won’t do half of what was advertised.

Clients know it’s all a joke and are starting to cancel or not renew. Probably 1 more great next quarterly earnings before the house starts to cave in.

Marketing at LSEG is an absolute shambles. The CAM LT keep churning out high-level garbage with no one left to execute because they’ve driven out the most talented people. Now it’s just clueless leadership throwing around buzzwords while the rest of us quietly quit and watch the ship sink.

Wait for the end-of-February announcements—another wave of layoffs (?), no salary increases, and stretched bonuses—despite record-breaking financial results and an all-time high stock price. As a result, everyone will shift into self-preservation mode, doing the bare minimum.

Your calendar will fill up with pointless calls where you can share your vision via long monologues while avoiding any real action—just like Workspace leaders do. No one will notice, since actual product deliveries, customer interactions, and innovative ideas are ignored.

So, play it safe: be an evangelist, say yes to everything, and enjoy life outside the firm.

And if you’re suffering from boredom or craving a more interesting job, just tell your manager you want to leave and take the package—even better if you have enough seniority.

@148+1jkea3r1g workspace leadership team is nearly 24 months into their job and done absolutely nothing, so basically everyone there should be a 1 (they won’t be obviously). Quiet quitting would accomplish the same.

How can you possibly want to quite quit after all the exciting workspace announcements this week?

Oh….Satvinder Singh quit and all the “new” Workspace announcements are just repackaged from 2020, 2021, 2022 etc etc with the current lead putting his name on it.

Ok, carry on with quiet quitting.

The senior managers (including in other threads here) say if you do not accept them as your god and let them control your thoughts, to please quit.

Quiet quitting seems to align with LSEGs goals then.
