This site, years ago, provided some timely information on changes within the Company. It has now deteriorated into a playground for two or three people that call each other names and bring politics into a non political topic. It is a poor reflection on “ thelayoff.com” and should be retired.

I need an atlas
Agent has to buy property to hunt on. Too funny! Know why he/she can't hunt ranches. The ranchers won't let jacka$$es like him to hunt on their property. Probably a bow hunter who need to hunt backyard deer because he/she can't shoot ot to 500 yes plus. He/she needs to stay being a pencil pusher. I don't have hunting property and need to bait deer to shoot em. Nor do I need to take em to a processor and I've hunted 26 out of 50 states like real men do not pu$$it's who wanna play with the big boys and look like they just came out of a Cabelas magazine.
Think of how much money could be saved without agents!
this forum is 90% one poster who then responds to the threads they make to bait people. Unsure if an ex-employee or someone from the website increasing engagement. Whoever it is, doesnt seem to know about internal workings of the company. Been like this for years unfortunately, since the good info stopped flowing here once corporate became aware people were leaking their planned LOC closures here. No one in the know will post anything here now. SF employees really do need a safe place to post though, sad this place cant be that.
Yep, and where do you think the policyholders come from? You are one special individual.
@12e+1. D-mbas$$! The money doesn't come from the agent. It comes from the policyholder.
Isn't it amazing people on this site name call or talk another person down for exactly what they do.
I just love how low the IQ average is on this particular post, not sure why it always goes to politics... yes there are A--hole agents but there also competent agents out there, the small town agents i spoken to actually care and know their customers by name, they might have 1 staff or 2 tops , they actually still help customers themselves and are nice to claims, its almost a pleasure to speak with them, there are also the big city Agents , the ones that have 10 to 20 staff... they are never in the office and their staff know zero about policies and bother claims all the time because they dont know what they are doing , or the Agent themselves sometimes might call claims and bully them in to trying to go past policy limits when they themselves know its not possible, there are side to this coin.
as far as politics goes , your average American is neither, they vote on what they perceive will affect them , sure there are 2 polar opposite loud groups in each camp but most Americans are independent or sadly dont really care about politics and dont vote, the point is this website is about lay offs not about which political party your love or hate both, honestly both are terrible in general and had messed things up for the workers in the past 40 years with some minor exceptions.
if you want to talk politics go find the right website, if you want to talk about SF and possibly lay offs then this is the place...
Hmmmm, something ain’t mathin out right. Just out of curiosity where do you think the companies “capital” originates? Let me tell you so you dont hurt yourself, with the exception of investment income it all funnels in from the agents offices. And yes those agents get paid well.
Agents earn their money? That's laughable Scooter!
Lay off scooter, agents earn every penny they make, and you are here on company time wasting company resources, you are the one they should audit. When the see how little work and value you are to the company you would be on a mop at Burger King.
If the federal government is full of fraud and abuse, can you imagine how much is in the nation's largest insurer? They need to explain to their policyholder where their money is going. Hint: BIG TIME AGENTS. Just sayin?
You are elderly-truth! You are confused- truth!
You obviously were never disciplined and required to respect. Daddy a retired cop?
You are elderly-truth! You are confused truth!
One of those keyboard warriors who if someone went up to them and smacked them they would run away crying yelling for mommy and daddy then say they would sue. Grow up!
Pull my finger
You are elderly-truth! You are confused -truth!
Yes you are confused typical for the elderly. Truth!
I don't think so scooter.
You seem confused about the definition of truth and opinion.
Isn't it funny now how people direct their hate to those who tell the truth. Doc Holiday: It's a reckoning!
Oh do I love to walk by useless and divorced alcoholics who had to work until they're 65 or older to retire. Now that their retired they look like death. The substance abuse has finally gotten to their jealous self. Sad bunch really.
State Farm doesn’t care about policy holders!
Read the posts on this site-they range from juvenile to political to just nonsense. The OP is right this site serves no benefit except some weak attempts at humor by a couple of people.
Elon a great consultant for SF! ;-)
PULL up you pa-ties there big boy and get back to work!!
@e3+1jkbs0j9f Streisand effect
Boy that would look just great for SF! Sue a cite that allows people to talk anonymous about a multi billion dollar company? Ouch! That sure wouldn't look good in the media.
Sue to shut down freedom of speech? Let people talk. Why do you want to control something you can't control? Ge-z!
I've always wondered why SF doesn't just sue this site
Corruption is being exposed.
Beware....your policyholders read this cite. It's good.
State Farm like our government has gotten way too fat! We the people need to expose their fat. When Agents come on this site and brag about their 400K income and tell everyone they deserve it AND tell people they should cut customer policy benefits.....YES, the site needs to stay to expose the insanity within the company that needs to be weeded out. KEEP THIS SITE! ALLOW US TO TALK.
Based on the posts of @ag+1 and aq+1 the OP is correct.
Someone got their pa-ties in a twist today!
Amen.
