Did they say all employees in the area could stay home for their own safety today? If there truly had been a weather event and the all-hands was important enough, they could easily have held it online. Just a lazy, cowardly way of buying time for their own selfish and nefarious ends, no doubt.
A dusting of snow shouldn’t impact canceling anything

The forecast is for an above-freezing light dusting that is expected to last a couple hours in the morning and then quickly move on, which on the east coast is called weather.
The email I got says due to the winter storm forecast in the NY area.
Ugh. Probably layoffs brewing. But seems a little early for that. Layoffs are usually March timeframe.
