We should be proud of the shareholders, they worked hard for their 5% raise. It’s only fair that we sacrifice with a 1.5% increase, despite inflation, including our own products, outpacing that.

Pepsi raised the dividend and is going to buy back a billion in stock. They are making their earnings by cost cutting which means don’t count on a raise and wait for more layoffs. As demand declines they are taking money out of their workforce’s pockets to prop up their earnings.
