Both vehicles show just how out of touch the Ford board is. Nobody wants either vehicle.

Lightnings & machEs are rotting on dealer lots. You all are delusional to think that the majority of people care for or even want EVs.
@a1+1jk7hrrgy I'm actually surprised that the CyberTruck outsold Lightning. The market seems to be getting saturated for CyberTrucks though. Maybe old F150 will pull ahead this year. As much as Ford does so many bad things, I do wish they would get better. How can we be losing to that monstrosity. It's only temporary.
For those who now “hate Musk” because of recent politics you have a very shallow understanding of geopolitics and likely you are lacking critical thinking skills.
A knee je-k reaction and thought process for an automotive purchase is not intelligent at all.
By the way, I currently have 2 Teslas, had my first Tesla in 2012, and would never drive a Ford EV!! I hate Elon now as well, don’t want ICE, but would never buy a Ford EV. Any suggestions (non Ford) on what that next EV should be?
Make a mini size EV coupe for commuters that’s under $30,000, charges once a week and goes 400 miles per charge. Cut all the fancy features and preserve only the essentials. That will put Tesla straight out of business.
Like I have warned elsewhere in this forum, the current Lightning and Mach-E are not actual products developed by today's Model e organization and management. Thus I suggest you not judge Ford's true potential with BEV's and related services until you have experienced the upcoming mobility products to be launched.
Hopefully leadership will give us some more teasers and snacks at this week's Global Town Hall.
Actually a bunch of Tesla owners are ditching their vehicles for Mach E since Musk became political. Most EV owners never want to go back to an ICE vehicle. The forums are full of people complaining about their ICE loaner vehicles from Ford. If you actually drove an EV, you too would not want to drive an ICE vehicle again. Don’t let your fear or prejudice hold you back from at least test driving one.
Let me drop some facts on you buddy: the F-150 Lightning is the best-selling electric pickup truck in the US, and the Mach-E has received rave reviews for its performance and design. But sure, keep telling yourself that nobody wants them. I'm sure Ford's record-breaking sales numbers are just a figment of your imagination.
And by the way, it's "Lightning", not "Lightening". You might want to brush up on your spelling skills before trying to trash talk Ford's vehicles. Just saying.
