Any changes to pensions looming in the future?

If you have the old Pension plan, it will decrease. Could be ~$100k. I did the 5 year forecast and it is predicting it won't come back to what it is today in 5 years. However, you never know what interest rates will do in that time and meanwhile you are getting paid still. Mine came back within $20k after 6 years. This has happened throughout the years, up and down. Up to you if you want to gamble and/or need your job/benefits more right now. I'm staying.
person above ^ where did you get your information? We were informed yesterday in our managment meeting that pay, benefits, pension, 401k will remain the same under contract
It's already been communicated that pension will decrease. If you are eligible to retire do it now.
