Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

Pay

I work on the phones in CS&S and make less than a Costco clerk and I had to get a series 7.

When is Schwab going to raise its pay for its frontline employees? How can we talk about though the client’s eyes when Schwab can’t even pay a living wage for many of its employees ?

"Discreet" surveys lol. One manager told the group to come to him with any score "you're planning to report below a 3". Absolutely laughable. You know who you are.

Bottom line this is a terrible firm to work for in my opinion. I know it very well because I’m a manager here but like many of my colleagues, I am trapped because within this field there are very few choices in the area that I live. Wages are extremely low raises are extremely low and bonuses are extremely low just all to match morale Managers, and the senior management are paid to blow smoke up peoples butts. Their surveys are ridiculous because even though they say that they’re completely discreet, everybody knows that they can be tracked. There are about 20 senior people in the firm that make millions while everybody else struggles paycheck to paycheck no room for advancement no hope for advancement if you join this firm, make sure you join a decent level or you’ll be stuck at the level you join at and never have an opportunity to do advance 90% of the time.

Who ever made this response is a total kool aid drinker.....most likely one of the management team of sycophants

'If you think that will make you happy, then quit and go work at Costco."

Sorry but walt needed any potential $5 raise to you to get to his 20 million USD payout. Walt bettinger made a mess of the firm and took it from a nice place to work to a sweat shop. He should have been fired after the cash sweep debacle.

The Unlicensed Service Rep Pay is $24.72 an Hour.

If you're making less than that, then that's on you.
