Thread regarding 3M layoffs

What’s JG13 in the US?

I‘m OUS and in JG13, got confused with Manager titles. Is JG13 already considered as manager or is this from 14 and up? I might be wrong, but feels like that I’m „manager“ (based on my local 3M paperwork) but actual manager titles are JG14 and above in the US.

What are the titles and JGs between 12 and 16, does anyone know?

When I was a JG 13 (15yrs ago), I was a senior supervisor. I didn't get the manager title until JG 14.

One thing for sure from this year. Only director & above qualifies for LTI incentive plans. Below 16> you guys are immaterial to this organization.

Varys is exactly correct.

And there are senior director levels. I was one.

This is wrong. There is no senior director title-16 and 17 are both directors

13 is a manager in the US-they share the manager title with 14

Dominik is correct for US. I've seen in some countries the titles get bumped up to where 12-15 are all "Managers".

12 is often a Supervisor
13 is Sr. Supervisor
14 - Manager
15- Sr. Manager
16 - Director
17 - Sr. Director

13-14 manager
15 Senior Manager
16-17 Director
