Blanket RTI mandates requiring hired remote employees to upend their lives to sit in an office to interface with their 100% remote teammates, unrepentant layoffs to lift a bottom line at the demands of a repugnant owner, to destruction of trust and culture and shameless advancement of cronies- this will end poorly. All just my opinion.

My unbiased take:
They will probably be fine. I’m highly certain that the RTO mandate and layoffs last year were Dassault’s decision. Tony is getting nicely paid as CEO to take the public abuse.
Medidata is set to experience double digit growth again by the end of the year so future layoffs appear unlikely, though nothing shocks me anymore. The sentiment on RTO is not as resistant for NY-based employees compared to the smaller offices and that’s what probably matters most to the XCOM; majority of new job openings in the States are also NY based.
I don’t see any mass exodus happening just because of RTO. Where else would you go? Everyone is required to come back no matter where you work (aside from startups which come with their own risks).
If you’re an in-office employee at one of their locations, I would advise to just come in, plug in your headphones and do the bare minimum. Don’t offer to go above and beyond because compliance to badge swipes will constitute a large part of your performance anyway.
