You mean like @OP+1jjby3h5p titled "No LR in Feb" where the last reply was only a day ago? As pointed out in that thread, Cisco may only need to get rid of a bit over 1,000 people which could be handled by PIPs instead of layoffs.
My management says nothing will be gonna there.

Expect another round in Feb . That way stock goes further up . Mo--ns get promoted and we will all discuss this again in another 6 months . Never a dull moment !
if you step back, its just so crazy that we calmly talk about thousands of people being laid off regularly every few months over the course of years...this is not normal! yet we discuss it like it is normal
They themselves don’t know. It’s all speculation and most likely happening. This LR is Cisco twice yearly ritual shaking the leaves event, and ELT really look forward to it. Reallocation of resources and realignment of teams. Comes on earning day and street really loves it.
