Work has been a total nightmare lately. In addition to the usual - office politics and cr-ppy management that loves to bully its employees - I cannot remember it ever being this bad regarding layoff rumors. There is not a day when I am not worried about my job. Everyone is on edge, including me. I am drowning in stress. It is exhausting, and I am not sure how much more I can take.

Apparently Q3 looks horrendous. But what I don't get is, we always make a huge profit. I get we need to hit our shareholders expectations every quarter, but this mentality is not sustainable.

Some layoffs today in Neuromod. Were other OUs impacted?
Whiners. You people have elevated the art of whining to something unrecognizable. Baby wants his reward for being a team player. It’s called a paycheck…oh you want recognition status? So all your peeps can see you on tha move, playa? Get a grip. Go somewhere else where you can pi-s people off there too.

The stress, dysfunction and politics are everywhere in this place. The long timers who are too comfortable in their jobs are the problems everywhere. They just refuse to help, collaborate or do things above and beyond. Yet some of us are team players and barely get rewarded for it.
This place is nothing more than a job and my ability to care is decreasing as a self defense mechanism for my mental health.
